Tour Plan
The city of Bursa is often referred to as “Yesil Bursa” or Green Bursa. This refers to the city’s parks and gardens spread throughout the urban area as well as the many forests located in the surrounding region. Bursa is also home to Uludag, a famous ski resort during the winter months. Many landmarks in the city are structures built during Ottoman rule, including mausoleums for early sultans. In the afternoon, we visit the Alexander the Great kebap lunchhouse and Green Mosque-Mausoleum — both located in the Ulu Cami and Mausoleum Complex. Then we ride by cable car to Mount Olympos, which is said to be the legendary Mount Olympus. We’ll explore the mountain’s rich fauna and flora before ending our day at a Silk Market in a Covered Bazaar.
