Highlights of this amazing city on a private day tour! We will pick you up from your hotel around 09:00 and your day will start with a visit to the stunning Topkapi Palace – home of the Ottoman Sultans for almost 400 years. Today, the palace houses an amazing collection of artifacts from the Ottoman period, as well as many religious works and a famous harem. Continue on to the Colosseum – the Byzantine setting where the sporting and political life of Constantinople took place. Today we can see many monuments, including a 3,500-year-old Egyptian obelisk. Our next destination is a local restaurant for lunch. After lunch, we continue our walking tour to the famous Hagia Sophia Museum – an architectural marvel dating back to 360 AD. It was used by various religions as a place of worship before it was turned into a museum in 1935.Next stop is the Sultanahmet Mosque, also known as the Blue Mosque – this working mosque was built in the 16th century and takes its name from the beautiful blue Iznik tiles adorning its interior. Next, we will visit the largest underground cistern among the hundreds of ancient cisterns that lie beneath the city of Istanbul. We continue on to the Grand Bazaar – the ultimate old world mall with 4,000 stores. The tour ends around 17:00 at the Grand Bazaar
