BELLY DANCING CLASS – INTRODUCTION TO ORIENTAL DANCE + VEILS (3 HOURS)
Belly dancing, also known as oriental dancing, can increase your body awareness and self-esteem, inspiring you to have a more positive view of your body and better accept yourself for who you are. The oriental dance is fascinating and moves people’s hearts. Dance is an expression of the body; however, Oriental dancers do not have to be of any particular body type, religion, social class, race or age. Awaken your feminine energy with this dance that tones and strengthens your muscles, replenishes oxygen and massages your internal organs.
In this advanced class, you’ll not only learn to isolate and control your hips, chest, and arms during rhythmic movements, but you’ll also learn how to add a silk veil to make your dance more compelling. The course lasts 3 hours, including a 10-minute refreshment break.
In this 1.5-hour introductory belly dance class, you’ll learn basic hip, chest, and arm movements, taking your first steps into the mystical world of oriental dancers.
