Cappadocia is famous for its breathtaking valleys and unique rock formations formed by three volcanoes: Mount Erciyes, Mount Hasan and Mount Melendiz. The first churches in Cappadocia were hidden in the valleys and caves of the volcanoes’ fairy chimneys. On a private half-day hiking tour, visitors explore Rose Valley, which is also known as the Rose Color Valley. This gorgeous valley contains many smaller valleys such as Kizilcukur, Güllüdere, Meskendir and Zindanonu valleys. The variety of rose hues and intensities found in this location inspired its name. Rose Valley has different paths for hiking. The easy, medium and hard routes all connect to several cave homes, churches and tunnels. We can customize our hiking tours based on our preferences.
